Beekeeping experience

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a beekeeper? Looking for a gift for that someone special?

Then why not try one of our beekeeping experiences.

A relaxed and informative afternoon learning about our friends the bees, how they live, how we look after them and what we can do to help protect them.

Beekeeping experiences run for approximately 3 hours and will take you through an introduction to honeybees and honey. You will get hands on doing a hive inspection and make a candle to take home. Welcome refreshments and light afternoon tea are provided.

Experience days run Friday-Sunday between May and September. Adults £65, Children £30 (with an accompanying paying adult). Family and small group experiences are also available.
